Dr. Angelica Bialek
Dr. Angelica Bialek worked as a registered nurse at Rush University Medical Center for 10 years before pursuing veterinary medicine.

Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Dr. Bialek attended Lourdes High School and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Illinois.

She graduated in 2004 from veterinary medical school at St. George's University on the island of Grenada.

Dr. Bialek is an avid runner. She also enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking and relaxing with her husband, Tim.

Dogs have been part of the lives of Dr. Bialek and her husband since childhood.  The couple recently lost their 12-year-old beagle to cancer and intend to bring another pet into their family soon.
