National Pet ID Week is April 18th -24th. Microchip your Pet!

Did you know that the number 1 cause of pet death is getting lost or stolen?

Millions of pets get lost or stolen each and every year and most do not find their way back home. Microchipping saves lives and increases the chances of you being reunited with your pet. We have had many such happy reunions here at Pulaski Animal Hospital. Also, shelters are required by law to scan all animals entering into their facility and to rescan if the animal is to be euthanized.

A microchip is as small as a grain of rice and can easily be inserted between the shoulder blades. You can have this done at anytime and we highly recommend it being done if your pet is scheduled for a surgical procedure to minimize any discomfort associated with the insertion. Most animals tolerate the insertion very well.

Please call the hospital for additional information. Your pet is depending on you to protect it.
